Nana Treads the Boards in Barrow with Peter

Nana the Dog is off on her adventures again, this time to Cumbria, or Walney Island, near Barrow in Furness to be precise for another musical production of Peter Pan!

If you live in the Barrow in Furness area then you can meet Nana on stage at The Forum in Barrow from Tuesday 13th to Saturday 17th November as Walney Musical Theatre Company perform Peter Pan - A Musical Adventure

Nana first appeared on stage in 2009 at The Rhoda McGaw theatre for the Summerscales Performing Arts (Karen Clarke Theatre Company) production of Peter Pan The British Musical and she has since performed in approx. 8 different shows around the country.

When she is not treading the boards, Nana likes nothing better than raising money for charity and being used for publicity for shows, usually by giving small children plenty of hugs (and the odd lolly or two!)

Do Coat Hangers Breed?

It would appear so... we have spent today at the Theatrical Threads costume hire store

There are some lovely gaps now from the sale of our Halloween costumes (which have all now been filled again with other stock) and we have been having a pre Christmas sort out, collecting additional nativity sales stock, moving shelving and generally having a sort out!

It soon became clear that whilst our backs have been turned, the coat hangers have been breeding. For some strange reason there seemed to be not only boxes EVERYWHERE half full of hangers but also hangers on the ends of rails, middles of rails and on the floor under the rails, hiding and hoping no one would find them

It was time for some serious downsizing!!!

How many coat hangers is too many ? Errrrrr ... this many!!!
